‘The wine of the eyes’ is an animation music video and audio track in Farsi based on a poem of the same title written by Fereydoun Moshiri — a leading contemporary poet of Iran. This composition was inspired by the composer’s (Ehsan Matoori) early years of immigration in the United States. The vocalist, Mohsen Namjoo, is one the most celebrated contemporary Iranian singers. The composition uses santoor, the Persian dulcimer as the solo instrument. The track became extremely popular on various digital platforms with more than a million hits.
