Label Director/ Creative Producer
Oversee the hiring and development of creative teams to sustain the ongoing success of musical production projects. Monitor project progress and made adjustments to workflow as needed so deliverables are completed on time and to top quality standards. Track budget use to verify that spending is allocated to appropriate project resources. Work closely with other teams to coordinate music content campaigns and initiatives. Work with Production Team to forecast music trends within our industry. Producing content, mostly audio content including directing talent. Led sales and marketing team across digital and physical platforms. Work alongside PR experts and management teams to structure marketing plans that gain maximum public exposure. Liaise between label managers and artists so that business needs are aligned with creative output. Set up the composition needs for productions so optimal sound quality and balance is consistently achieved. Navigate and execute through ambiguity and drive momentum for new projects and ideas. Assess gaps in catalogs offered and assist in A&R for Artist Catalog. Responsible for finding promising new artists for a record label or music publisher to sign. Collaborate with labels and internal departments to help create and develop plan and strategies. Create plan and content for track releases pre and post-release in internal and external marketing.
- Released more than 12 albums and 450 single tracks across various digital audio platforms.
- Handled the album physical sales and concert ticketing for up to 8,000 people and Moree than 35 concerts.
- Coordinated the successful rollout of seven virtual events experiences since the start of the COVID pandemic.
